John Newsome

John Newsome is a native Texan and retired Navy Chief Petty Officer. He was fortunate enough to be stationed in 16 countries, over the course of his 24 year military career.

After retiring from the military he worked as a government contractor and program administrator for the Defense Health Agency and US Air Force. He is a graduate of The George Washington University and earned an MBA in Management from AUI.

After his governmental career he concluded that his previous experiences would serve him well in property and program management. He chose to work with Nesbitt Realty, because of its stellar reputation for professionalism, numerous awards for excellence, and extensive outreach to the local community.

John has lived in the Alexandria for 15 years and enjoys all that the local area has to offer, from the St. Patrick's day parade in Old Town to the Christmas show at George Washington's Estate in Mount Vernon.

Today, John hopes to continue this reputation by providing the best overall service oriented experience to his clients. He hopes that his attention to detail and unmatched devotion to each individual client fosters an ever expanding

In his free time he continues to enjoy travel and hiking the numerous local trails that the region offers. His goal is to eventually through hike the Appalachian Trail and to finally hit 100 countries worldwide.
